Starting the plastic industry with PVC hose manufacturing, Vatan Plastik has been given investment messages to the business world at the opening of the factory, which will be built on a total of 70 thousand square meters of land in Osmaneli and is planned to be made for 12 million dollars. The ceremony was attended by the Governor of Bilecik Tahir Büyükakın, AK Party Bilecik Deputy Selim Yağcı, Osmaneli District Governor Edip Çakıcı, Osmaneli Mayor Münür Şahin as well as Mr. Behruz Vatandost’s daughter Mrs. Nazenin Onur and his friends from the business world and Vatan Plastik family. Mr. Behruz Vatandost, Chairman of Vatan Plastik, explaining that their annual export turnover reaches 60 million dollars and they provide employment for hundreds of people, continued as follows: “The investment in industry is not over. Investments will continue. We invest in the country’s economy to be stronger. You have to invest all the time. I have a saying ‘You cannot build a dam while water is coming. You build the dam, water comes’ I have been following the technology from Tahtekale for 60 years to this day. There is no shortage in Turkey. Because we export to 64 countries. Our exports are 60 percent. In fact, our exports increased 40 percent this year. It will continue. If they give me 500 thousand acres here, I will invest and do business again. There is nothing to be afraid of. ”
